Wes Davenport has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Wes started their career with Fors Marsh Group as a Research Associate from March 2006 to June 2008. Wes then joined ITATS as a Contributor, providing content and consultation on creativity and self-discovery from October 2010 to June 2016. Moving forward, they worked at High Point University as an Associate Professor of Management and later became the Chair of the Department of Management & Entrepreneurship from August 2008 to June 2016. Wes then joined Quoin Development Group as the Managing Partner in September 2014, a management consulting firm focused on providing solid foundational support to individuals and organizations. Currently, Wes Davenport holds the position of Director of Graduate Programs, College of Business and Technology at the University of North Alabama since January 2018.

Wes Davenport holds a PhD in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, which they attained between 2002 and 2009. Prior to that, they obtained an M.A. in Clinical Psychology from East Carolina University, completing it from 2000 to 2002. Wes began their academic journey with a B.A. in Psychology from Auburn University, acquired from 1996 to 2000. Wes completed their high school education at Grissom High School from 1992 to 1996. Additionally, Wes has obtained a certification in "Applying the QM Rubric" from QM Quality Matters, although the year of obtaining it is unknown.
