Nate Corbitt

Nate Corbitt has extensive experience in higher education, currently serving as the Campus Visit Manager at the University of North Carolina at Asheville since August 2007, where responsibilities include supervising the Admissions Administrative Assistant, managing tour registrations, and coordinating large-scale recruitment events. Previously, Nate held various roles in admissions, including Campus Visit Coordinator and Administrative Assistant, where skills in event planning and social media management were developed. Additionally, Nate founded Nate's Smokehouse BBQ Blends in September 2023 and participated in the North Carolina Education Policy Fellowship Program with the Public School Forum of North Carolina. Prior professional experience includes a customer support role at Checkpoint Systems, management at GameStop, and coordination roles in various service-oriented positions. Nate earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice/Police Science from Appalachian State University.
