Amanda Chang

Amanda Chang has over two decades of professional experience in operations, communications, and insurance. Currently serving as the Director of Operations at the Office of Sponsored Programs at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill since March 2017, Amanda previously held the position of Assistant Director of Operations in the Office of Sponsored Research at the same institution. Prior to this, Amanda worked at the Dept. of Biochemistry & Biophysics at the University of North Carolina from November 2007 to March 2017 as Development and Communications Director and Executive Assistant, while also managing facilities and the website. Amanda's earlier experience includes serving as an Insurance Agent at State Farm Insurance from January 1997 to November 2007 and as Inventory and Sales Manager at Borders from January 2003 to January 2005. Amanda holds a degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
