Andrew Barnhill

Andrew Barnhill currently serves as a Board Member for the NC Life Sciences Organization, contributing to the advancement of North Carolina's life sciences industry. As the Head of Public Policy at IQVIA, Barnhill oversees government affairs on a global scale, complementing previous roles at Pfizer and BioDelivery Sciences International, where expertise in public policy and government affairs was developed. Barnhill has held significant positions at GSK, focusing on federal policy and strategies related to health care, and gained political experience as the Democratic Nominee for the North Carolina Senate in 2016. An accomplished academic, Barnhill has also taught as an adjunct professor at NYU’s Wagner School, Duke University, and Louisburg College.
