Brian Collier has extensive work experience in various roles related to research administration and operations management. Brian started their career in 1991 at the National Institutes of Health, where they held roles such as Administrative Technician, Administrative Officer, and Senior Administrative Officer. In 2006, they joined the Mountain Area Health Education Center as the Operations Manager for the Division of Regional Services, and later became the Accounts Payable Coordinator. In 2013, they joined the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, initially as a Program Administrator and then transitioning to roles such as Lead Program Administrator and Assistant Director of Research Administration. Currently, they serve as the Director of Science and Security at the University.
Brian Collier attended Rockville High School from 1984 to 1987. Brian then went on to complete a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Frostburg State University from 1987 to 1991.
