Jeff Szczypinski

Jeff Szczypinski is an experienced Web Applications Developer and Oracle DBA at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill since September 2014, focusing on the design, development, and deployment of web applications for the UNC School of Nursing using technologies such as PHP, JavaScript, and Oracle. Prior to this role, Jeff served as a Sr. Project Systems Analyst at Elster from November 2007 to September 2014, specializing in Oracle database administration and development with skills in PL/SQL, Java, and big data technologies. Jeff's career began at IBM Global Services, where from July 1995 to October 2007, responsibilities included software architecture, Java development, and DB2 database administration. Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, earned between 1988 and 1993, and completed education at Boys' Latin School from 1980 to 1988.
