Katrina Konopka

Katrina Konopka is a seasoned professional in athletic event management, currently serving as the Senior Director of Athletic Event Management at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill since August 2021. Katrina has held multiple roles at the university, including Assistant Director for Event Management and Graduate Student. Prior experience includes working as a Clinician for Fitter and Faster Swim Camps and as Lead Group Coach for the Raleigh Swimming Association. Katrina also served as a Graduate Student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an Undergraduate Researcher at the University of Arizona, where studies were completed from 2015 to 2019. Early coaching experience was gained as Head Swim Coach for the Wellington Green Gators.
