Mary Napier

Mary Napier is a seasoned professional in the field of research and operations, currently serving as the Director of Operations at the UNC HIV Cure Center since March 2016. Previous experience includes roles as Director of Discovery Operations at Meryx, Inc., and Executive Director at the Frank Hawkins Kenan Institute of Private Enterprise, both within the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Additionally, Mary held positions as Research Associate Professor in the Department of Biochemistry and Biophysics and Senior Research Associate at UNC, and worked at RTI International and Xanthon, Inc. Mary began an academic career with postdoctoral research positions at Harvard University before obtaining a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Northwestern University and a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
