Nicole Kenney

Nicole Kenney currently serves as the Executive Director of Human Resources Shared Services at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill since August 2025. Prior to this role, Nicole held multiple positions at the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy, including Senior Director of Human Resources and Engagement and Interim Director of Human Resources and Engagement from January 2021 to August 2025. Additional experience includes working as a Human Resources Business Partner at Implus and as a Human Resources Generalist at William Peace University. Nicole began a career in human resources at UNC Wilmington as an Employment Services Specialist. Academically, Nicole earned an MBA with a focus on Human Resources Management from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and a Bachelor of Arts in Management and Society, with a second major in Sociology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
