Raven King-Edwards, MPH, currently serves as the Director of Early Childhood Systems at Share Our Strength, where responsibilities include managing the Early Childhood Grantee Program and overseeing a $3M budget while developing strategies to enhance food and nutrition security for young children. As an Adjunct Professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Raven teaches graduate-level courses on Community Engagement and Public Health Leadership. Previous experience includes a Public Health Program Manager position at the NC Department of Health and Human Services, where advocacy for health equity and collaboration with community organizations were key focuses. Additional roles include Community Food Systems Coordinator at the Atlanta Community Food Bank and various positions in healthcare-related research and patient care. Raven holds a Master's degree in Public Health from Emory University and a Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Science from North Carolina Central University.
