Chris Roys

Chris Roys, PMP ITIL, has over 30 years of experience in IT management, currently serving as IT Director at UNC - Greensboro since October 2005, where leadership spans various departments, including ERP Development, Networks, and the Project Management Office. In addition to ongoing military service as a Major in the Army National Guard since August 2004, Chris held the position of Deputy of Operations for COVID Mass Vaccination sites at FEMA from January 2021 to March 2022, organizing teams for mass vaccination operations. Previous roles include Program Manager at L3 Technologies, overseeing an $80 million technical support contract, and Independent Consultant at Litton PRC, providing technical support and managing a Help Desk. Chris holds a Master’s degree in Computer Systems Management from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems from Salisbury University.
