Justin Sipes

Justin Sipes, Ed.D. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple universities and roles. Justin began their career at Goucher College as a Community Living & Student Center Coordinator from August 2006 to June 2008. Justin then moved on to Bowling Green State University where they served as an FSL Graduate Assistant and Greek House Director from August 2008 to May 2010. Following that, they worked at Sonoma State University as a Campus Life Advisor from July 2010 to June 2012. From October 2012 to October 2016, they were the Associate Director for Fraternity & Sorority Life at the University of North Florida. Justin then transitioned to the role of Co-Curricular Community Engagement Coordinator at the same institution from October 2016 to August 2019. From August 2019 to May 2022, they served as the Assistant Director, and later as the Director, of the Center for Community-Based Learning at the University of North Florida. Currently, they hold the position of Director in the Office of Experiential Learning at the University of North Florida, starting in October 2023. Throughout their various roles, Justin has demonstrated leadership, collaboration, and a commitment to community engagement.

Justin Sipes, Ed.D. obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Maryland Baltimore County in 2006. Justin then pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in College Student Counseling and Personnel Services from Bowling Green State University, which they completed in 2012. In 2017, Justin enrolled at the University of North Florida and earned their Doctor of Education (EdD) degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General in 2021. Additionally, they obtained certifications such as Group 2 Social Behavioral Research Investigators and Key Personnel from CITI Program in January 2024 and CSAEd - Certified Student Affairs Educator as well as CSAEd-FSL from the Higher Education Consortium for Student Affairs Certification in January 2023.
