Rafiu Fashina

Rafiu Fashina serves as the Associate Controller at the University of North Texas System since December 2018, after holding the position of Assistant Controller at Texas A & M University Commerce and functioning as a Research Assistant at the University of North Texas. Additionally, Rafiu Fashina has been the AVP & Controller at the University of North Texas at Dallas since September 2022, and previously served as the Director of Project Management and Financial Analysis at UNT System from February 2017 to December 2018. Other roles include Accounting Manager at Texas A & M University-Commerce from January 2013 to August 2014, and Branch Accountant at Somotex Nigeria Ltd from September 2009 to August 2010. Rafiu Fashina holds an MBA and MSA in Business and Accounting from East Texas A&M University, completed between 2010 and 2012, with experience in project accounting, financial analysis, and account payable reconciliation.
