Richard Anderson serves as the Associate Vice Chancellor and Chief Information Security Officer at the University of North Texas System since October 2001, overseeing information security and business continuity for multiple campuses. Additionally, Richard has a long-standing role as a Research Scientist at the University of North Texas, where research focuses on human behavior and media relationships, and has founded the Visual Thinking Laboratory. Richard also teaches Intermediate Digital Imaging in the Master's program in the Department of Library and Information Sciences while having held various academic roles, including Adjunct Professor and Network Manager. Richard contributed to the Document Academy from 2005 to 2012, particularly in organizing the 2010 meeting. Richard holds a PhD in Information Science and an MS in Behavior Analysis from the University of North Texas.
