Robert Ortega

Robert Ortega is a seasoned finance leader with extensive experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial management across various sectors. Currently serving as the Sr. Director of Finance and Vendor Management at the University of North Texas System, Robert supports the CIO and oversees budgeting and reporting for IT operations. Previous roles include Med-Trans Finance Manager at Global Medical Response, where Robert managed financial responsibilities for significant expense operations, and multiple positions within Bell Helicopter, focusing on program budgeting and cost management. Robert’s career also includes a foundation in financial services at TD Ameritrade, combined with leadership training from the Stagen Leadership Academy and a BA in Management from The University of Texas at Arlington.
