Leanne Frisinger

Leanne Frisinger has a diverse work experience, starting as a Graduate Assistant at the University of KwaZulu-Natal in 2008. Leanne then worked as an Assistant to the Curator at Artisan Contemporary Gallery before transitioning to teaching roles at different educational institutions. Leanne's roles included being a Visual Arts and History Teacher at St Mary's DSG, Kloof, a Head of Department for Visual Arts and Design at Thomas More College, and a Visual Art Teacher at DSST Public Schools. Leanne later worked as a Frontend Developer at Koderex before becoming a CMS Developer at Convercent by OneTrust, where they focused on web development and design. Currently, they serve as the Director of Web Strategy and Development at the University of Northern Colorado.

Leanne Frisinger pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Fine/Studio Arts at the University of KwaZulu-Natal from 2005 to 2007. Leanne furthered their education with a BA (hons) in Fine and Studio Arts in 2008. In 2009-2011, they obtained a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Fine/Studio Arts, specializing in Ceramics. Later, in 2012-2013, they earned a PGCE degree in Education from the same university. In 2020, Leanne enrolled in General Assembly’s Software Engineering Immersive program. Leanne acquired additional certifications, including a Teaching License-Standard from the Colorado State Board of Education in 2019 and a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification from the Scrum Alliance in 2022.
