Pete Moris

Pete Moris is an innovative public relations and multi-media professional with 18 years of experience in developing and implementing communications strategies for high-profile organizations, executives, coaches, and athletes. Currently serving as the Director of University Relations at the University of Northern Iowa since June 2022, Pete has previously held significant roles, including Associate Athletic Director for Strategic Communications at Virginia Tech Athletics and Assistant Athletics Director at the University of Oklahoma, overseeing the Athletic Communications department. Additionally, as the Founder & CEO of Moris Media & Consulting, Pete provided business solutions and PR expertise to elite clients. Earlier roles with the Kansas City Chiefs included positions from Public Relations Intern to Associate Director of Public Relations, where Pete specialized in strategic communications and brand development. A graduate of Loras College with a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communications and English Writing, Pete Moris has a proven track record of generating positive exposure and goodwill through an extensive network of personal and professional relationships.
