Phil Gunder

Phil Gunder serves as the Head Women's Golf Coach at the University of Northwestern Ohio since December 2017, overseeing all facets of the women's golf program, including recruitment, scheduling, and player development, while emphasizing a student-centered approach grounded in integrity and leadership. Additionally, Gunder is an Assistant Professor in the College of Business, with a specialty in Sports Management and Marketing, and has experience as a Virtual College Faculty Member. Previous experience includes coaching as an Assistant Football Coach at Findlay City Schools and roles at Northwestern Mutual and the University of Findlay, where responsibilities included recruitment, internship facilitation, and enhancing experiential learning initiatives. Phil Gunder holds a Master of Business Administration in Sports and Event Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Education, both from the University of Findlay.
