David Go is an accomplished academic and engineering professional with extensive experience at the University of Notre Dame since August 2008, currently serving as Vice President and Associate Provost for Academic Strategy, along with various titles such as Viola D. Hank Professor of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering and Department Chair. Prior to their tenure at the University of Notre Dame, David Go gained practical engineering experience as an Engineer Intern at Intel Corporation and as a Design Engineer at GE Aviation, where David completed the Edison Engineering Development Program. David Go holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University, a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Cincinnati, and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame.
