Gwen O'Brien

Gwen O'Brien is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in community relations, internal communications, and media engagement. Currently serving as the Director of Community Relations at the University of Notre Dame, Gwen facilitates meaningful connections between the university and local organizations, with a focus on the upcoming Regional Economic Impact Report. Previously, Gwen held leadership roles in integrated and internal communications at Saint Mary's College, managing various media initiatives and storytelling projects. Gwen's earlier career includes positions as a corporate writer, convergence coordinator, and reporter, where skills in storytelling and communication were honed in both print and broadcast media. Gwen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism from the University of Kansas.
