Joanne D. Fahey

Joanne D. Fahey is an accomplished communications expert with extensive experience in research communications, education, and environmental advocacy. Currently serving as a Fulbright Specialist Roster Member since August 2021, Joanne has worked as a Fulbright Specialist Awardee at Kathmandu University in Nepal in Autumn 2023. As the Executive Director of Research Communications, Marketing, and Events at the University of Notre Dame since June 2014, Joanne has developed strategies to enhance the university's research reputation. Previous roles include Communications & EducationUSA Manager for the Fulbright Commission Ireland and Senior Project Communications Consultant at RPS Group. Joanne holds a Master of Science in Environmental Science from Trinity College Dublin and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Peace Studies from the University of Notre Dame.
