John McGreevy

John McGreevy is the current Provost at the University of Notre Dame, a position held since July 2022. Prior to this role, John McGreevy served as the Dean of the College of Arts and Letters and Chair of the Department of History at the same institution from July 2002 to June 2018. John McGreevy earned a Ph.D. in History from Stanford University, where studies took place from 1986 to 1992, following a Bachelor of Arts in History obtained from the University of Notre Dame between 1982 and 1986.
