Christopher Sargeant

Christopher Sargeant is an accomplished legal educator and scholar currently serving as an Assistant Professor in Property Law at the University of Nottingham, where responsibilities include teaching modules in Land Law, Trusts Law, and coaching the Jessup Moot Court Competition team. In 2023, Christopher was appointed as a Martin-Flynn Global Law Professor at the University of Connecticut School of Law. Previous roles include serving as Editor-in-Chief of the UK Supreme Court Yearbook and a Teaching Associate at the University of Nottingham. Christopher holds an LLM from the University of Cambridge, where a first-class grade was achieved, and an LLB with a distinction in Australian Law from the University of Nottingham, during which a year was spent on exchange at the University of Queensland. Additional academic pursuits include a short course in International Human Rights Law at Florida State University. Academic credentials are complemented by a solid foundation in secondary education from Queen Mary's Grammar School.
