Sarah Metcalfe

Sarah Metcalfe serves as a Professor of Earth and Environmental Dynamics at The University of Nottingham since September 2003 and holds the position of Deputy Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Research & Knowledge Exchange. In addition to leading the Developing Sustainable Societies Global Research Theme, Sarah chairs the Facilities and Equipment Management Committee and serves as the Nottingham lead for the NERC Envision DTP. Since August 2021, Sarah has also taken on the role of Interim Provost and CEO at the University of Nottingham Malaysia.
