Mirko Savic

Mirko Savic is a distinguished academic with extensive experience in the field of statistics and econometrics. Currently serving as a Visiting Professor at University Tor Vergata since September 2019 and a Full Professor at the University of Novi Sad, Faculty of Economics in Subotica since September 2008, Mirko focuses on statistics, econometrics, and official statistics. Mirko's previous roles include Associate Professor and Team Member at HERE team of Serbia from July 2015 to July 2018, and Member of the Commission for Accreditation and Quality Assurance of the Republic of Serbia during the same period, contributing to quality assurance in social sciences and humanities. Mirko's educational background includes a PhD in Business Statistics and a PhD in Economics from the University of Novi Sad, complemented by attendance at a summer school at the University of Ljubljana in 2014.
