Michael Schade

Michael Schade, J.D., CLP, serves as the Chief Innovation and Corporate Officer (Interim) and Executive Director (Interim) at the University of Oklahoma, along with holding the position of Senior Counsel for Research, Innovation, and Corporate Partnerships. With extensive experience in intellectual property law, Michael Schade has also been an Adjunct Professor at both the Price College of Business and the University of Oklahoma College of Law, teaching courses related to Entrepreneurial Law and Applied Intellectual Property. Prior to their current roles, Michael Schade owned and directed their own law firm focusing on intellectual property and licensing, and held various positions at Dunlap Codding PC, where Michael was the Senior Counsel and Biotechnology Practice Group Leader. Michael Schade's academic background includes a J.D. from the University of Oklahoma College of Law and a B.S. in Biochemistry from the University of Oklahoma.
