Thad Turnipseed

Thad Turnipseed is an experienced professional in football administration and athletic facilities management, currently serving as the Executive Director for Football Administration at the University of Oklahoma since December 2021. Previously, Turnipseed was the Director of Football Recruiting and External Affairs at Clemson University from 2013 to January 2022, where significant accomplishments included creating the football recruiting department and overseeing the construction of a $55 million football complex. Prior experience at the University of Alabama spanned over a decade in various roles, including Director of Athletic Facilities, where responsibilities involved managing over $200 million in capital projects and enhancing the game-day experience for fans. Turnipseed also owned Calvary Construction and Flooring, achieving annual revenues exceeding $2.5 million, and began a career in construction as a project manager for Beaver Construction Company. Turnipseed holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from the University of Alabama.
