Quaye Meadow Negro is an experienced professional with a background in arts and community engagement. Currently serving as a Ceramics Instructor at Walters Cultural Arts Center and a Program Manager of Donor Relations at the University of Oregon, Quaye also held roles as an Annual Philanthropy Intern. Previous experience includes Executive Writing Editor, Print Copy Editor, Illustrator, and Writer at Align Magazine, as well as various roles in the service and retail sectors, including waitress at 1960 Cocina and retail salesworker at Provisions. Leadership skills were demonstrated as Vice President of WICI and Public Relations and Outreach Coordinator at the University of Oregon Women's Center. Quaye's education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art and Art History from the University of Oregon, completed in 2023.
