Alain-Sebastien Malette

Alain-Sebastien Malette is a seasoned professional in career development and enrollment management, currently serving as the Senior Director of Career Development and Experiential Learning at the University of Ottawa since September 2018, alongside interim responsibilities as Associate Vice President of International. With a long-standing tenure at uOttawa starting in January 2009 as Associate Registrar for Recruitment and Admissions, Alain-Sebastien also contributed to the Ontario Universities' Application Center as an Advisory Board Member from September 2016 to March 2017. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Programs Officer at the Canada Foundation for Innovation from May 2003 to May 2006, where Alain-Sebastien managed a portfolio across various Canadian universities and research hospitals while developing policies related to research sectors. Alain-Sebastien holds an MBA in Engineering and an MBA from the University of Ottawa, in addition to a Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering from the same institution and a Master of Applied Science in Civil Engineering from École Polytechnique de Montréal.
