Daniel Azzi

Daniel Azzi, MBA, CPA, CMA, currently serves as the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) at the University of Ottawa, a position held since March 2023. Prior to this role, Daniel Azzi held various positions at the House of Commons of Canada from November 2016 to March 2023, including Deputy Director of Finance, Administration and Planning, as well as Manager of Planning and Reporting Services and Senior Financial Advisor. Daniel Azzi's earlier experience includes a tenure at Canada Post from June 2006 to December 2016, where responsibilities included finance, decision support, and serving as a Business Advisor in the Office of the Executive Chief of Staff for the President & CEO. Educational qualifications comprise an MBA in Finance obtained from the University of Ottawa (2004-2005), an Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering (1997-2001), and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering (1993-1997), all from the University of Ottawa.
