Ingrid Hernández

Ingrid Hernández, MSc, CSM, CSPO, is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in managing IT solutions and software development. Currently serving as Senior Director of IT Solutions at the University of Ottawa since February 2015, Ingrid directs the strategy and management of institutional application portfolios and facilitates the effective use of technology to achieve business objectives. Previous roles include Associate Director for Solutions Architecture & Integrations, where Ingrid played a key role in implementing a new ERP system, and Senior Manager of Information Technology overseeing a large team of web developers and the maintenance of over 300 web applications. Ingrid's earlier experience includes leadership positions at Fuel Industries, Independent Learning Systems, NeoSynergix Inc., and Gmixon, along with an academic background as an instructor at the University of Havana. Ingrid holds a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics/Optimization and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, complemented by a Leadership and Management Program at the University of Ottawa.
