Glenn Magerman

Glenn Magerman is an experienced academic and musician, currently serving as an Associate Professor of Economics at Université libre de Bruxelles since October 2016, following a role as Assistant Professor of Economics. Glenn also owns Magma CommV, engaging in consulting and music activities since January 2013, and works as a freelance trumpet player with notable performances across over 20 countries and appearances on more than 40 recordings. In February 2024, Glenn will take on the role of Visiting Associate Professor at the University of Oxford. Past positions include researcher roles at the National Bank of Belgium and KU Leuven, as well as involvement with the European Commission and the Vlaamse Overheid. Glenn holds a Ph.D. in Economics from KU Leuven, along with several degrees in music and economics from prestigious institutions.
