Jayroop Ramesh

Jayroop Ramesh is a co-founder of Odysy, an initiative aimed at helping students make informed career decisions through engaging career simulations since March 2020. With a robust background in academia and industry, Jayroop served as a Tutor and Teaching Assistant at the University of Oxford from October 2022 to April 2023, and previously worked as a Data Analyst at Winterwood Interiors where machine learning and statistical models were utilized for digital marketing analysis. Experience as a Research Assistant at the American University of Sharjah involved conducting machine learning research across various domains, while roles as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Undergraduate Research Assistant contributed to teaching and research in computer engineering. Additionally, Jayroop co-founded Cerebro Analytics, a B2B SaaS platform for retailers, and held positions at Etisalat and Ericsson focused on data analysis and innovation in IoT and big data. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science from the University of Oxford and both a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the American University of Sharjah.
