The Hundred Years' War is already in its 30th year, Boccaccio put the final full stop to the end of the Decameron 14 years ago, just in three years the Aztecs are going to create a state in America, and on the 1st of September Louis the Great - the King of Hungary - establishes a university at Pécs with the approval of Pope Urban V. It is one of the largest higher education institutions in Hungary with its 26.000 students and its nine faculties. The University of Pécs offers a broad range of international training and degree programmes, ensuring high-level knowledge-transfer and research. The university has almost 2000 international students coming from 61 countries of the world.
