Papp Eszter is a seasoned professional in the field of translation and linguistics, currently serving as a Terminology Officer at Translators without Borders since October 2021. Simultaneously, Papp holds the position of Visiting Lecturer at the University of Pécs, Hungary, since February 2022, focusing on translator training. As a freelance translator since January 2017, Papp specializes in technical translations, terminology, documentation, and linguistics. Previous experience includes co-authoring exam preparation books and supporting a large team of volunteer translators at Covid1001 as a Terminologist and Project Manager. Papp also worked as a Pre-sessional Tutor at the University of Southampton and as a Technical Translator at Autodata. From 2014 to 2018, Papp served as Vice President of the European Association for Terminology and has taught at various institutions, including Károli Gáspár University. Papp Eszter holds a PhD in Applied Linguistics and an MA in English from the University of Pécs, completed between 1996 and 2013.
