Lei Wang

Lei Wang has a substantial work experience in the analytics and quality management field. Lei's most recent position is Director of Analytics at Penn Medicine, where they have been working since October 2020. Before that, Lei held the role of Director of Quality Analytics at Jefferson Health for five years, from May 2015 to October 2020. In this role, Lei was responsible for tracking and improving the organization's performance in quality and safety programs, as well as managing data submission to various regulators and payers. Prior to Jefferson Health, Lei worked as a Program Manager - Quality Informatics at UHS from March 2014 to April 2015. Before that, Lei was a Senior Quality Analyst at Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic from August 2008 to March 2014, and a Quality Analyst at Wilmington Veterans Affairs Medical Center from June 2007 to October 2008.

Lei Wang earned a Masters of Public Administration degree in Health Data Management and Statistical Analysis from the University of Delaware from 2006 to 2008. They also obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Chinese Language and Literature from Fudan University. Additionally, Lei Wang has received several certifications, including being a Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS) from IHI in January 2024, and various Epic data model and system certifications in 2023.
