Libby Wetterer

Libby Wetterer, MD, currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Family Medicine at Penn Medicine, University of Pennsylvania Health System, where responsibilities include practicing and teaching in diverse clinical settings. Wetterer's experience spans inpatient non-surgical obstetrics and outpatient procedures, with roles including Family Medicine SIG Co-Leader at the Society of Family Planning and Director of Penn Family Medicine RHEDI. Additional positions include Contract Physician at Whole Woman's Health, LLC and Planned Parenthood Southeastern Pennsylvania, and Co-Faculty Lead for the Perelman School of Medicine with Medical Students for Choice. As a Pennsylvania Alternate Delegate to the Congress of Delegates for the American Academy of Family Physicians, Wetterer also acts as the Pennsylvania AAFP RHAP Liaison for the Reproductive Health Access Project. Previous experience includes serving as Chief Resident and Resident Physician at Montefiore Health System. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Medicine from Georgetown University School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Notre Dame.
