Monica Heuer

Associate Vice President, Clinical Strategy at University of Pennsylvania Hospital System

Monica Heuer has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and positions. Monica started their career at Innovation Network, Inc. in 1999 as a Senior Evaluation Associate. During their time there, they facilitated planning retreats, managed project level profit and loss, and formed cross-functional teams for leadership training. In 2005, they worked at Christina School District as a Broad Foundation Summer Intern, analyzing operations and advising on process improvement initiatives. From 2006 to 2014, they worked at CFAR as a Senior Manager, providing strategic consulting and managing project teams for major healthcare organizations. Since 2014, they have been employed by Penn Medicine, University of Pennsylvania Health System, where they have held various roles including Director of Change Management, Chief Administrative Officer for the Heart and Vascular Service Line, and currently, the Associate Vice President of Clinical Strategy.

Monica Heuer holds an MBA degree in Strategy and Marketing from The Wharton School, which they obtained from 2004 to 2006. Prior to that, they earned a Master's degree in Public Policy from The Johns Hopkins University from 1997 to 1999. Their education journey began with a Bachelor's degree in Sociology, which they pursued at Princeton University from 1992 to 1996.
