James Rogers

James Rogers is an experienced professional in recreation and facility management, currently serving as the Director of Campus Recreation at the University of Pennsylvania since September 2025. Previously, James held the position of Executive Director at Spring Valley YMCA from April 2024 to August 2025 and has an extensive background at Drexel University, where roles included Director of University Recreation, Manager of Recreation Facilities, and Coordinator of Climbing and Experiential Learning from October 2017 to April 2024. Prior experience includes positions at Louisiana State University as Assistant Director and Coordinator of Adventure & Experiential Education, and service in the United States Marine Corps as Company Training Controller and Critical Skills Operator. James holds a Master of Science in Sport Management from Drexel University and a Bachelor of Science in Recreation, Park & Tourism Management from Penn State University.
