Maya Kaul

Postdoctoral Scholar at University of Pennsylvania

Maya Kaul currently serves as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Collaboratory for Teaching and Teacher Education at the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education, a position held since June 2023. Kaul has extensive experience in teaching and research, having worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Co-Instructor for various education courses at Penn GSE. Previous roles include an Institute of Education Sciences Pre-doctoral Fellow with placements at the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction and American Institutes for Research, as well as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Consortium for Policy Research in Education. Early career experiences include working as a Research and Policy Assistant at the Learning Policy Institute and conducting research during a Fulbright Scholar tenure in Finland. Kaul holds a PhD in Education Policy from the University of Pennsylvania and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from Pomona College.
