Mitesh Patel serves as the Chief Clinical Transformation Officer and National Vice President at Ascension, leading national clinical transformation and care innovation efforts, including initiatives in patient engagement and artificial intelligence. Patel also holds the position of National Vice President for Clinical Transformation and National Lead for Behavioral Insights at the University of Pennsylvania, where responsibilities include directing the Wharton MBA course on The Digital Transformation of Health Care. As the Founder and Principal of Catalyst Health, Patel oversees a consulting firm focused on behavior change and technology, alongside a distinguished academic career as the Ralph Muller Presidential Professor at the University of Pennsylvania, recognized for expertise in behavioral nudges to enhance healthcare outcomes. Previous positions include founding Docphin and serving as a Staff Physician at the Department of Veterans Affairs.
