Moira M. Baylson

Moira M. Baylson serves as the Associate Vice President of University Communications at the University of Pennsylvania since March 2022. Baylson has a diverse background in strategic communications and community engagement, previously holding the position of Director at Penn State Abington, where responsibilities included marketing and crisis communications. Baylson also contributed to Interim House as Board President, focusing on empowering women in recovery from co-occurring disorders. Additional experience includes leading public affairs and charitable giving at Citizens Bank, serving as Chief Operating Officer for Next City, and working in various roles within the City of Philadelphia's Office of Arts, Culture and the Creative Economy. Baylson holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication from Cornell University and a Master’s degree in Arts Administration from Drexel University.
