Ashoka Ekanayake

Ashoka Ekanayake is a highly experienced Senior Staff Technical Officer at the University of Peradeniya since August 2018, specializing in organizing training programs, facilitating workshops, and maintaining computer systems and audiovisual equipment. In addition, Ashoka serves as a Technical Trainer for Maintenance Technology for Technical Officers at the university. Concurrently, involvement in the Development Project SCDP as a Consultant Data Analyst and providing technical support at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital has been undertaken since March 2013. Previous experience includes serving as an Instructor/Teacher at a Technical College from January 2009 to December 2010. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Environmental Science, a Master of Arts in Sociology, a Post Graduate Diploma in Sociology, and a Master of Science in Natural Resources Management, all from the University of Peradeniya, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in General Studies and secondary education in Biology from Vidyartha College, Kandy.
