Eboni Zamani-Gallaher

Eboni Zamani-Gallaher serves as the Renée and Richard Goldman Dean and Professor at the University of Pittsburgh, focusing on higher education and community college leadership since July 2022. Previously, Eboni held the roles of Renée and Richard Goldman Interim Dean and Associate Dean for Equity, Justice, and Strategic Partnerships in the School of Education. In addition, Eboni is the Executive Director of the Council for the Study of Community Colleges since January 2020. Prior experience includes positions as Director and Professor at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Associate Dean of The Graduate College, and Associate Department Head. Eboni's academic career began as an Assistant Professor at West Virginia University, followed by a professorship at Eastern Michigan University. Eboni earned a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, a Master of Science in Experimental Psychology, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, both from Western Illinois University.
