Matthew Bieniosek

Matthew Bieniosek is a Visiting Research Assistant Professor at the University of Pittsburgh since March 2025, previously serving as a Scientist at Enable Medicine from June 2022 to September 2024 and as a PET Hardware Scientist at RefleXion Medical from January 2016 to June 2022. Matthew's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Stanford University, where research focused on front-end data acquisition circuits for positron emission tomography (PET), along with a Master’s and Bachelor’s Degree in the same field from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Previous internships include positions at Apple, where contributions were made to the flat panel displays group, Analogic, where a novel analog to digital conversion technique was developed resulting in a patent, and OSRAM, where modeling of LED heat and stress was conducted.
