Paul Wood

Paul Wood serves as the Vice President and Chief Communications Officer at UPMC University of Pittsburgh Medical Center since 2008. With a robust background in public affairs and corporate planning, Paul previously held the position of Manager of Public Affairs at Ford Motor Company from 1989 to 2007, and Vice President of Corporate Planning & Development at The Chase Manhattan Bank from 1985 to 1989. Earlier in career, Paul worked as an Operations Analyst at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York from 1982 to 1985. Academically, Paul holds a BS in Mathematics and an MS in Statistics from The Ohio State University, along with an Accredited Public Relations (APR) credential from the Public Relations Society of America.
