Asrul Harun Ismail

Asrul Harun Ismail is a Senior Research Associate in Operational Research at the University of Portsmouth, focusing on projects related to Drone Medical Logistics, ARCSAR, AIARC, and the Dr SUIT project, which involves developing routing and scheduling for Drone Swarm-Uncrewed Vessels in offshore wind farm inspections. Prior to this role, Asrul served as a Researcher and PhD student at the University of Birmingham from December 2017 to December 2021. Asrul also has extensive experience as a Project Management Consultant and Trainer at PT Sinergi Daya Mitra from June 2009 to October 2017 and as a Lecturer at Universitas Pancasila from 2010 to 2017. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Birmingham, a Master of Engineering in Industrial Engineering and Management from Institut Teknologi Bandung, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Engineering from Universitas Gadjah Mada.
