Jerry Watkins

Jerry Watkins is a highly experienced academic and researcher specializing in digital business and communication, currently serving as a Senior Teaching Fellow at the University of Portsmouth. Throughout a diverse career, Jerry has held notable positions including Senior Research Manager at the University of Plymouth, Head of the RMIT Centre of Digital Excellence at RMIT University Vietnam, and Director of the News & Media Research Centre at the University of Canberra, among others. Jerry's work encompasses high-quality teaching, impactful research, and innovative project delivery in both the UK and internationally. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Computing Sciences from the University of Technology Sydney, an MBA in Higher Education Management from IOE - UCL, and various degrees focused on communication, IT, and environmental management.
