Michael Conway

Michael Conway is an experienced professional in the sports coaching and community development field, currently serving as an Outdoor Sports Facilities Assistant at the University of Portsmouth since November 2021. Prior to this role, Michael worked as a Football & Sports Assistant Development Officer at Southampton Football Club from October 2020 to November 2021. Michael's extensive background includes over a decade as a Community Coach with Hampshire Football Association from January 2008 to October 2020, focusing on grassroots and disability coaching, including visually impaired and wheelchair football. Michael's coaching career began in 1990 and continued until 2012, further complemented by a role as a Community Coach with Portsmouth in the Community from June 2000 to December 2007. Michael holds an educational background from Dominican College Portstewart, where studies took place from 1975 to 1980.
