Ruxandra Bondarescu is a distinguished researcher in the field of physics with extensive experience at reputable institutions. Currently a Ramon y Cajal Fellow and Maria de Maeztu Researcher at Universitat de Barcelona, Ruxandra has also served as a Visiting Researcher at the University of Portsmouth since 2017. Previous roles include a Researcher at the Physics Department of the University of Zurich, where investigations into atomic clock applications and testing of general relativity were conducted, and a Postdoctoral Scholar at Pennsylvania State University, focusing on waveform recovery methods and dark matter models. Ruxandra’s academic background includes a PhD and MS in Physics from Cornell University, as well as degrees from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and Universitatea Politehnica din Timişoara.
